Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP)

Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) is a multi-channel protocol that allows a user to connect to a networked computer. Clients exist for most versions of Windows.

The server listens by default on TCP port 3389.

RDP settings can be manually or automatically change the registry with the terminal server to be switched off from the active pole of the hostname or IP.
